Who we are
Robot Security Team (“RST,” “we,” “us”) is a commercial autonomous-security integrator. This policy covers the public website at robotsecurity.team, including the pages.dev host that currently serves it, and the email addresses published on that site.
It does not replace a customer contract. If you become a customer, the agreement for that engagement governs operational, site and equipment data. Where that agreement and this policy conflict on those topics, the agreement controls.
What this site does
This is a static marketing site. There is no account system, no checkout, no comment form and no first-party analytics script. The calls to action open your email client to hello@robotsecurity.team or partners@robotsecurity.team.
Information we collect
We collect information in these ways:
- Information you send us. Name, email address, company, phone number, site location and anything else you put in a message. You choose what to include.
- Business correspondence. Replies, attachments and follow-up about a survey, partnership or manufacturer inquiry.
- Technical request data. The host (Cloudflare Pages) records standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, date and time. We use this to operate and secure the site, not to build marketing profiles.
- Fonts loaded from Google. Headings and body type are served by Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and user agent when your browser requests those files. That processing is under Google’s terms, not ours.
We do not knowingly collect government ID numbers, payment-card data or precise geolocation through this website. Please do not send passwords, badge credentials or other access secrets by email.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Answer inquiries and schedule site surveys.
- Talk with security companies and manufacturers about partnership.
- Keep a record of what was asked and what we promised.
- Operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
- Meet legal, insurance and accounting duties that apply to a commercial inquiry.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use this site to serve advertising. We do not run a first-party cookie banner because we do not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Legal bases
Where a privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: taking steps at your request toward a contract; our legitimate interests in answering business mail, securing the site and keeping records; and legal obligations that apply to us. If we ever ask for consent for an optional use, you can withdraw it the same way you gave it.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to do the work:
- Hosting and delivery. Cloudflare serves the site and may process request logs as our processor.
- Email and office tools. Messages sent to our published addresses are handled in the mailbox and related tools we use to run the business.
- Professional advisers. Lawyers, insurers or accountants, when a matter requires it.
- Legal and safety. If we must disclose information to comply with law, a valid legal process, or to protect people, property or the site.
- Business transfer. If RST is involved in a merger, acquisition or similar transaction, information may transfer as part of that deal under continuing confidentiality.
We do not share website inquiry data with manufacturers or other partners unless that is necessary to respond to the request you sent — for example, a manufacturer question you asked us to take forward.
Cookies and similar technology
This site does not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. The host and Google Fonts may use their own cookies or similar technology when your browser loads their services. You can block third-party cookies in your browser; the page remains readable without them. Typefaces may fall back to system fonts if Google Fonts is blocked.
Retention
Inquiry email is kept for as long as needed to finish the conversation and for a reasonable business-records period after that — typically no longer than seven years unless a longer hold is required by law, insurance or an active dispute. Server logs are kept only as long as the host retains them for operations and security. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it.
Security
We use HTTPS, limit who can read business mail, and host the public files on Cloudflare Pages. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send highly sensitive operational details through the public inquiry addresses if a more restricted channel has already been arranged.
International access
The site is served through Cloudflare’s network and may be delivered from locations outside your country. If you email us from outside the United States, your message will be received and stored where we operate. We do not invent a specific storage country on this page; ask at the contact address below if you need a current description for a particular request.
Children
This site is for commercial customers and partners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to the contact address below and we will delete it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete information we no longer need, or restrict how we use it.
- Object to processing that relies on legitimate interests.
- Receive information you provided to us in a portable form, where that right applies.
- Complain to a data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need enough information to find your inquiry and to confirm it is you. Some records we must keep for legal or insurance reasons even after an erasure request.
If a US state privacy law applies to you (for example California), you may also ask us — once in a 12-month period, or as that law allows — for the categories of personal information collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties we share with. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Customer and site operations
Deployed robots, drones, cameras and related systems process video, telemetry and site data under the customer contract, written procedures and applicable law. That processing is not described here. A customer who needs a data-processing exhibit or a description of subprocessors for a live deployment should request it as part of contracting, not from this public page.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site, our tools or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page is the date the current version took effect. Material changes will be posted here. Continued use of the site after a posted change means the new version applies to later visits and later messages.
